As we moved into 2017, we are continuing to roll out new innovation within Printbox, and get closer to taking the position of being the best software provider for photobooks and photo calendars. I wanted to take this time to provide full context about the road behind of us as a company.

Revolution!

A complete HTML5 package: editor for photobooks, photocalendars, canvas, wall-art and cards.

Last year brought a major change: release of a much anticipated complete HTML5 package for personalized products. From now on, every online editor is built in HTML5 technology. This was a significant milestone for us and our partners companies all over the world. HTML5 online creators are available for products such as photo albums, photo books, photo calendars, canvas, prints, greeting cards and gadgets.
The HTML5 editor lets your end customers experience a whole new way of editing personalized products. It’s faster than existing technologies and offers exceptional functionalities.

Here are the most important features in the HTML5 editor:

• Photo Smart Crop: Printbox editor recognizes people and objects of interest automatically and places objects in the center of the design.
• Super responsiveness and ultra-high performance: editor opening, page switching, zooming, preview, component adding and dragging – all that works smoothly even on older PC-s and mobile devices.
• Image handling: Printbox editor allows the user to work on thumbnails of original large size pictures without the loss in quality and any pixelization.
• Pixel-perfect texts: Printbox renders texts in the ultra-high performance application on the server to ensure that all texts are exactly the same on every device.
• Flexible calendar component: there is the possibility to add multiple calendars with differently displayed months in a single project.
• Unique admin theme designer: there are smart components resizing control mechanisms to assure a great look without the need to create designs for each size.

Evolution!

Mobile App: new products available (iOS and Android).

During the last year, our mobile development team completely rewrote the code and now the  application is built entirely in React-native. This allows us not only to share most of the code between platforms (iOS, Android) but also use part of the js. editors logic. We’ve implemented also the first production apps for businesses that are already selling via Printbox.

We have launched also new products: canvas (standard and mosaic) and photo calendar with spiral binding in the middle of workspace.  Now your end customers can create a variety of custom photoproducts on their mobile devices. Along with canvas and calendars, photobooks and prints are available with the touch of a finger in the Printbox Mobile App.

Printbox App is available in demo version to show what the app can really do for your customers. The full version can be launched for you with your branding to cover photo product sales on mobile devices.

Global No. 1 trade fair!

Drupa, May 31 – June 10 2016, Dusseldorf, Germany.

The atmosphere at the drupa 2016, the world’s biggest and most important trade fair for print and cross media solutions, was extremely good and the show has far exceeded all our expectations.

This was the first time that we’ve exhibited there and we are so glad of this decision. This event proved itself to be a great platform to meet new clients and leads. We’ve had very positive feedback from visitors excited about the opportunities of the Printbox Photo Products Online Software System.

The show gave us the opportunity to meet people we have only been in contact with via mail or phone and to strengthen existing contacts in real life. We are looking forward to the next edition of drupa and will make sure to show many more innovations by then!

Mini-Printbox!

We’ve created a special package (with a dedicated live demo) to sell Canvas and Wall art only.

Businesses can provide word art, photo collages, framed prints and many other personalized products. We can configure any kind of size or layout and end customers can upload their photos (different sources available: Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, PC) or from uploaded photo library. Companies can print any format at any resolution. The whole system is HTML5 to sell anywhere at any time on a variety of mobile devices.

Printbox offers a white label solution. The software comes with the company’s branding. This means the enterprise can customize e-commerce with logo and colors to reflect the brand.
