Changelog October 2017

November 6, 2017
Advanced Printbox Editor for Photo books - Mobile View

October is over. Pumpkins, witches and scary monsters: all these elements reminded us recently that the high sales season is coming soon.

As we have mentioned before at our blog – photo product sales is seasonal and the end of the year is the peak. That’s why in October we have been concentrating not on developing new features, rather than on polishing those existing ones so every customer can make the most out of the Printbox platform.

In the previous month we have been working on several improvements.

Take a look at the changes!

Advanced editor mobile view (for photo books and calendars).

More people are using mobile devices for every task that used to be only capable on desktop. That includes also buying things and designing personalized items. This is a reason why mobile is taking over Internet. That’s why we’ve developed the first version for the advanced editor for photobooks. It runs without redirecting end customers to other (bigger screen) devices. Take a look at the general feel & look.

New project visualization

We’ve added the possibility to edit the preview for cards and canvas, so from now on you can show designs to your end-customers any way you want to. The mechanism is flexible and allows you to display multiple layer visualization, and different kind of visualization for different product attributes (like different view of canvas, depending on the size). In other words it means that you can show canvas 30×30 cm hanging on the wall and canvas 150×150 cm leaning against the wall. Other options also possible – your imagination is the limit.

Components blocking

We’ve modified gently the way of blocking components in the workspace and added some new values. You can manage everything in the admin panel. This feature is especially useful when you offer greeting cards and you want to make sure, that end customers won’t influence the overall feel and look and at the same time you are giving them the possibility to personalize the template (like changing names, dates or add pictures).

Changes in the Prints editor

We’ve added the possibility to delete unused photos and we’ve launched  the ability to open Prints projects from the admin panel.

If you need a closer look at any of changes – don’t hesitate to contact me or our support team.

See you next month!
